Description:
The Breast Cancer Support Group is comprised of breast cancer survivors as well as patients currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer. Occasional guest speakers provide both education and coping strategies. Meetings without guest speakers are moderated by a Registered Nurse providing support as well as the ability to address clinical issues. The support group also provides individualized coaching for patients diagnosed with advanced stage breast cancer.
Meeting Details:
The Breast Cancer Support Group meets on the third Thursday of every month from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Hamot Health Connection.
